Nursery Round Up

We have had a very busy term in the nurseries. With the money raised from our ‘Teddy Toddle’, we were able to buy 22 outdoor play suits. This has allowed us to get outdoors in all weathers!  We have splashed in puddles, pretended to be 5 speckled frogs jumping into ponds, made snow angels, explored the school areas and made mud pies in the mud kitchen and lots more.

We had a pyjama day for Children in Need in November. The children looked very cosy and the staff all joined in with dressing up! During World Nursery Rhyme week, the children learned a new nursery rhyme every day. We continued this during Scottish Book Week, where we learned Scottish rhymes.

We held another well attended ‘Stay and Play’ . It’s always lovely to see family members coming along to join in the fun.

Nursery 3 even had a visit from some Aliens who kept stealing their underpants! The aliens felt at home in the space corner.
