Some of the primary 7 pupils are spending this week on their residential activities trip to Cromdale. The children have settled in well and the first two days have passed so quickly already!
Monday – We arrived at noon followed by team building challenges in the afternoon – involving listening to each other, thinking of problem solving strategies and showing leadership skills.
We went swimming at night – a fun way to finish off the day!
Tuesday – Gorge walking in the morning – lots of fun and careful planning of our route!
– Wilderness skills in the afternoon – den building using materials available, lighting a campfire and using a kelly kettle. Children and Staff enjoyed hot chocolate and marshmallows
– Nightwalk – showing us that we don’t need to afraid of the dark, listening to sounds around us (birds mostly)
