Having applied for and been successful at becoming a member of Ernest Shackletons expedition crew, the children in Room 14 have journeyed to Antarctica as part of our IDL topic this term. From learning about the climate, survival, ice packs, climate change, avalanches and natural disasters the children took the chance to show what they had learned by creating presentations in a format of their choice. This afternoon we were treated to a power point presentation, book creator app books, a play written and performed by the children (with props, also child made) and a puppet show complete with theatre and puppets! The performances were terrific and the feedback given from the audience helped us recognise how we could make our presentations even better next time. Well done P4/5!
