Eating our learning

In Room 28 we have been learning about the life cycle of the butterfly and exploring symmetry and pattern. Today to celebrate our caterpillars transforming into butterflies we created 3D symmetrical butterflies using pancakes, icing, sweets and a selection of fruit.

Jake used strawberry for the body and chocolate for the feelers.
Luke really concentrated when he was creating his butterfly.
Dean was looking forward to eating his symmetrical butterfly.

Balqis had to spread lovely which icing on her pancake to make her butterfly wings.

Look at our amazing symmetrical butterflies.
